Information about our leadership development services, organizational requirements, and participant agreements for Singaporean professionals

1. General Terms

These Terms of Service govern the legal relationship between ModernLeaderEdge and our participants for all leadership development, organizational excellence, and training services. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Scope: These terms apply to all services provided by ModernLeaderEdge, including leadership development, organizational assessments, executive coaching, team development guidance, and related training services. Any deviations from these terms must be agreed upon in writing.

2. Service Scope

ModernLeaderEdge provides comprehensive leadership development services for professionals seeking expert guidance on organizational leadership, team management, and executive excellence matters. Our service range includes:

  • Leadership Development: Expert advice on organizational leadership, team dynamics, and executive strategy
  • Organizational Assessments: Team dynamics, Singaporean business practices, and industry-specific development reviews
  • Executive Coaching Guidance: Leadership frameworks for organizational change, team development, and professional growth
  • Team Development Services: Leadership impact assessments, team building agreements, and policy development
  • Leadership Strategy: Executive coaching, organizational development, and leadership service contracts
  • Organizational Excellence: Singapore and international leadership regulations, industry standards, and best practices

The specific scope of services will be determined in individual participant agreements. Additional services will be arranged and billed separately.

3. Participant Obligations

For proper delivery of our leadership development services, our participants are required to:

  • Complete Professional Information: Provide all relevant company details, organizational infrastructure information, and development requirements
  • Service Compliance: Adhere to our service policies and professional guidelines
  • Accurate Information: All information provided must be correct, complete, and up-to-date
  • Cooperation: Active participation in leadership assessments, organizational reviews, and service delivery
  • Timely Payment: Settlement of invoices within agreed payment terms
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of our leadership advice and proprietary methodologies

Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in additional leadership assessments that will be charged to the participant.

4. Fees and Payment Terms

Leadership development fees are based on service type and complexity according to individual participant agreements.

  • Development Rates: Standard consultation SGD 350/hour, Organizational assessment SGD 2,500/project, Strategy review SGD 1,800/document
  • Additional Services: Expert witness testimony, litigation support, and specialized organizational audits billed separately
  • Payment Terms: Invoices due within 30 days of issue
  • Late Fees: 1.5% per month on overdue balances
  • Additional Costs: Travel expenses, court filings, and third-party expert consultations billed separately

5. Liability and Warranty

ModernLeaderEdge provides all leadership development services with the utmost care and according to recognized principles of Singaporean business excellence.

Liability Limitation: Liability is limited to gross negligence and willful misconduct. The amount of liability is limited to three times the annual service fees, but not exceeding SGD 150,000.

Warranty: Defective services will be corrected at no charge if they are due to ModernLeaderEdge's fault. Further claims are excluded.

6. Confidentiality and Participant Information

ModernLeaderEdge commits to strict confidentiality of all participant information and professional data:

  • Professional Confidentiality: All employees are bound by participant confidentiality obligations and confidentiality obligations
  • Data Protection: Participant information handled according to Singapore privacy laws and GDPR
  • Data Security: Technical and organizational measures to protect participant data
  • Record Retention: Participant records maintained according to legal requirements (minimum 7 years)

7. Termination and Service Ending

Service relationships may be terminated by either party with proper notice:

  • Notice Period: 30 days written notice for ongoing service contracts
  • Immediate Termination: Possible for important cause or legal conflicts
  • Service Transition: Assistance with service transfer after full payment of all invoices
  • Record Retention: Participant records retained for 7 years, then destroyed

8. Final Provisions

Applicable Law: These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

Jurisdiction: Exclusive jurisdiction is Singapore, Singapore.

Amendments: Changes to these terms require written form. If individual provisions become invalid, the remainder of the contract remains valid.

Effective Date: These terms take effect on January 1, 2025, and replace all previous versions.

9. Refund Policy

At ModernLeaderEdge, we understand that circumstances may require changes to service arrangements. Our refund policy helps fairness while maintaining the high standards of our leadership development services:

Development Service Refunds:

  • Cancellation with 60+ days notice: Full refund of prepaid development fees minus a 5% administrative fee
  • Cancellation with 30-59 days notice: 90% refund of prepaid development fees
  • Cancellation with 14-29 days notice: 75% refund of prepaid development fees
  • Cancellation with 7-13 days notice: 50% refund of prepaid development fees
  • Cancellation with less than 7 days notice: 25% refund of prepaid development fees

Special Circumstances: In cases of documented professional emergencies, organizational conflicts, or other extraordinary circumstances, special consideration may be given for partial or full refunds at management discretion. All refund requests must be submitted in writing with appropriate documentation.
